Mr. Dresher brings years of experience in sales, marketing and advertising to the J.F. Smith Group. Combining his organizational, communication and people skills, Mr. Dresher works with the J.F. Smith Group in the area of conducting interviews for Feasibility Studies.
Prior to joining the J.F. Smith Group, Mr. Dresher owned a printing and office supply business on Amelia Island, Florida, giving him valuable experience in sales, management, and developing a business.
Mr. Dresher was later appointed Director of Tourism in Pine Mountain, Georgia, where he was responsible for promoting Callaway Gardens, Warm Springs, and other facilities catering to tourism. His primary activity was to develop marketing and advertising for the entire area, with special emphasis on Callaway Gardens. During his tenure there, he served as the first Chairman of the Georgia Tourism Advisory Council to the Governor. In 1996, he arranged for the Olympic Torch to come through Callaway Gardens and Pine Mountain, Georgia. Following his retirement in Pine Mountain, Georgia, Mr. Dresher moved to Auburn, Alabama.
Mr. Dresher is a member of Auburn United Methodist Church. He is married to Lynn Dresher, and they have three children and nine grandchildren. Community activities include: Sertoma Club, Rotary Club, community theatre, and Auburn Alumni Association. Hobbies include: gardening, golf, and duplicate bridge.
