Dog Gone It!

"Doggone it, why can’t everyday be a TUESDAY?"

In a recent survey of 1000 of the largest corporations, a question was asked….what day of the week are employees generally most productive?  Here’s the results:

Monday ……….. 6%
TUESDAY ....... 53%
Wednesday ..... 9%
Thursday ........ 9 %
Friday ............. 2%

And what would your guess be on the least productive day? You’re right ... it’s Friday.

Here are 10 things that I believe will make everyday of the week a TUESDAY.

1. Be genuinely concerned for your fellow employees, associates and most of all our clients.
2. You may be called on to do a variety of things…but whatever is asked of you…do it…do whatever it takes.
3. Life is full of potholes and roadblocks.  We have to learn to avoid the potholes and go around the roadblocks.
4. If you don’t care who gets the credit then anything can be accomplished.
5. Don’t accept anything less than the best from yourself.
6. To be successful you have to work successfully in sometimes trying situations.
7. Follow the golden rule.  Treat others as you would like to be treated.
8. Small successes add up to major accomplishments over time.
9. Acknowledge your successes and failures.
10. Trust each other…depend on your fellow employees.   Holding hands may be necessary.
