Andrena Briggs joined the J.F. Smith Group in July 2007. She brings with her over ten years of professional discipline in education and nonprofit development. She has benchmarked best practices for peers in program management, volunteer recruitment and training, and educational research on the local, state, and national level. Prior to joining JFSG, Andrena worked with the University of Oklahoma Outreach for five years on several multi-million dollar grant initiatives in the capacity of Data Collection Manager, Research Associate, and Senior Project Specialist, providing her with extensive experience in scientifically based research and evaluation, strategic planning and implementation, and supervision and support of independent contractors and volunteers. She has also had experience as Adjunct Instructor, Content Specialist, and Educational Consultant in the fields of mentoring, accreditation readiness, early literacy, and staff professional development in the Greater Oklahoma City area.

Andrena received her Master of Education degree from the University of Oklahoma in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum. Her undergraduate studies were conducted at the University of Arkansas.

Andrena and her husband, Elten, currently live in Fort Worth, Texas.
