Anne Narewski

Ann Narewski began her career in education as a high school English teacher in the Jefferson County School system in Alabama. Since that time she has worked in Kansas, South Carolina, and North Carolina as a high school guidance counselor/department head and in Kentucky at Murray State University as Coordinator of Services for Students with Learning Disabilities. She currently is a counselor at Bragg Middle School in Gardendale, Alabama where she serves on the Jefferson County Guidance Steering Committee and as a Counselor Mentor for first year counselors. She also is a member of Bragg’s School Improvement Steering Committee.

Her background in English and her experience in teaching and leading others have provided her with the skills to organize, analyze, evaluate and present information in a manner that is orderly, concise and easily understood. Her many years as a counselor have taught her how to anticipate the needs of others and then organize the resources necessary to meet those needs.

Mrs. Narewski is a member of Gardendale’s First Baptist Church. She is married to Stan who is the Track Coach and a Health and Fitness educator at Wallace State College in Hanceville, Alabama. They have one son, Taylor, who is a student at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia.
