Biography:
Mr. Bob Adams joined the J.F. Smith Group in 2005 as a feasibility study interviewer. Since then, Adams has conducted more than 300 interviews for 18 different feasibility study clients. Adams also works as a project manager in JFSG capital campaigns, where he is now seasoned in the cultivation and solicitation of prospects and donors. Most recently, he served as the project manager for the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy campaign, which reached its goal of $7 million under Adams’ assistance.
Adams has over 20 years experience in public education and educational publishing. He was an elementary school teacher in the Parma (Ohio) City Schools for six years, working with fifth and sixth grade students. He worked in a variety of sales and marketing positions with Ginn and Company, a major publisher of educational material for grades K-12. Adams was first a sales manager and later became a vice president and regional manager in Ginn’s Southwestern Regional Office in Dallas, Texas. He then became the director of marketing in which he was responsible for managing the marketing staff in product development activities, training, developing sales aids and serving as the liaison with the editorial and financial departments.
Adams also has over 20 years experience working in the small business area. He was chief operating officer of a computer assisted language translation company, a co-owner of a recycling company and involved in the sale of products made with recycled materials.
