Biography:
Megan Augustine serves as the vice president of communications for the J.F. Smith Group. In this role, she oversees the publications and marketing departments. Serving a dual position, Augustine also is the director of publications. She focuses on JFSG writing projects in this role, including feasibility study reports, campaign proposals, and campaign newsletters. Augustine also assists Jerry F. Smith, president and CEO, with his book projects.
Augustine joined the J.F. Smith Group in February of 2007 as the Director of Marketing. In this position, she was responsible for company development, including prospecting visits, speaking engagements, training seminars and more. She also worked with prospective clients in communicating the JFSG fund-raising process and philosophy.
Prior to joining JFSG, Augustine worked in marketing and communications in various industries, including healthcare information technology, forensics, and real estate. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
