Confidence in Moving Forward

Again and again we are witnessing successs in fund-raising, as organizations prevail through the current economic climate. Take for instance Texas Christian University. In June, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported the following:

"Texas Christian University exceeded a $250 million fundraising goal two years before the campaign's 2012 conclusion ... Gifts and pledges totaling $267.6 million were made to the university by more than 31,000 donors ... The campaign goal -- the university's highest -- was established by TCU leaders before the Texas economy began to feel the effects of the national recession. Despite the downturn, TCU supporters came through." You can read the entire article at http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/06/22/2285360/tcu-tops-250-million-fundraising.html#ixzz0uWLhTkd5.

Organizations are becoming more and more confident in moving forward with fund-raising endeavors. And we, the J.F. Smith Group, can attest to this confidence. Since the beginning of the year, a multitude of clients sought our help in proceeding. Those who have embarked on feasibility studies include: Auburn University Foundation/Student Affairs, Children's Harbor, Lee Academy, Lee County Historical Sociey and Pillow Academy. Clients proceeding with capital campaigns include: Auburn University at Montgomery, Four Corners Ministries, Loyola College Prep, The Oakridge School and Virginia State University. The J.F. Smith Group is also working with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund in a general counsel capacity. Adding the aforementioned "new" clients to those who signed on before 2010, the J.F. Smith Group has seen first-hand through a number of clients that organizations CAN be successful in today's economic environment.

Organizations are moving forward; don't let your organization fall behind!
