Athletic Fund-Raising Seminar a Success

For the first time, Lemak Sports Medicine & Orthopedics partnered with the J.F. Smith Group to equip Alabama area high school coaches with proven fund-raising tools that are sure to elevate their fund-raising activity.

President and CEO of the J.F. Smith Group Jerry F. Smith was joined by Kay Hargrave, senior associate athletics director of development at Auburn University, to deliver powerful presentations in fund-raising to over 30 high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and booster club presidents.

Together Jerry and Kay provided valuable insight on how to effectively cultivate relationships to grow their athletic programs. Jerry shared fund-raising techniques on how to ask for major leadership gifts with his proven five-step approach in a solicitation. Plus, participants learned how Auburn University Athletics received over $170 million in its most recent capital campaign.
